Objective:  SWBAT determine the energy of a spring in simple harmonic motion.

Warm Up:  Define mechanical energy.  Then write an equation for  mechanical energy that includes terms for all of the types of energy we have studied so far in class.  (No numbers, just symbols in the equation.)

Today's Assignment:  Watch the movie "Modern Marvel's Car Crashes".  Choose a safety feature in automobiles that you would like to research.  Write a 500 work typewritten report on the history, development and physics behind your safety feature.  Due Tuesday Nov 27th.
