Objective: SWBAT calculate equivalent resistance, current and voltage drop in a parallel circuit.
Warm Up: Diagram a circuit that contains a 12 V battery, a 3ohm resistor, a 5 ohm resistor, a light bulb with 1 ohm of resistance and a closed switch. Calculate the equivalent resistance and total current of the ciruit, as well as the current and voltage drop through each "resistor" (including the light bulb).
