Objective:  SWBAT apply the work energy theorem to solve problems involving energy.

Warm Up: A firework rocket is launched from rest.  425 J of work is done on the rocket by the propellent to cause the rocket to reach a height of 29 m.  Ignoring air resistance (and the loss of mass due to the burning of the propellent) determine the final velocity of the rocket.
